In the mid 1990s, Landline visited our fledgling jojoba plantation to shed light on a promising new rural industry. They were fascinated by how, after 15 years of research by the Department of New South Wales Agriculture and CSIRO, a wild desert shrub from the Sonoran Desert had been adapted to thrive and produce a valuable crop in the heart of Australia’s wheatbelt.
We’re thrilled that Landline is returning to explore the jojoba industry once again. It is exciting too, that our young plantation has blossomed into a multigenerational family business. Spanning two states, our plantations now produce the jojoba for our range of skincare products. We focus on using natural ingredients, environmentally friendly practices, and minimalist, functional packaging.
